Debora Verniz
Research Statement
I work with the application of generative design strategies in design methodologies, with an emphasis on algorithmic approaches.
More specifically, I work with shape grammars, transformation grammars, and grammatical transformations applied to design strategies. I use different computational technologies to develop my researches such as virtual reality, 3D scanning techniques, verbal and non-verbal programming languages, and digital fabrication.
